Because I want more people to sign up for my mailing list (you can sign up here).
The mailing list is critical to our business, because that’s where many of our brokerage clients and equity investors come from.
In order to raise the conversion rate (the percentage of visitors who actually go ahead and give me their email address), I had to revamp the site.
We’ll see if, over time, the new design makes any kind of difference. Meanwhile, I’ll continue to post my thoughts and our screwed up, interesting, crazy, lucrative business.
